β€’ TrueCar is a leading automotive digital marketplace β€’ The Director of Sales leads a high-performing, regional team responsible for generating sales for TrueCar platforms β€’ Develop and execute sales strategies, plans and tactics to meet or exceed regional sales goals β€’ Build and lead a high-performing sales team β€’ Reports to the Head of Sales β€’ Ideal candidate will live in Texas or Missouri

Requirements

β€’ Ability to formulate, implement, and execute sales strategy, plans, and tactics in a competitive environment β€’ Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals, with progressive levels of responsibility; preferably in the Automobile Industry β€’ Extensive experience leading large territories with a sizable amount of direct reports β€’ Demonstrated success leading field sales organizations resulting in dramatic growth across multiple regions β€’ Experience defining, driving, and implementing successful sales plans β€’ Excellent communication and presentation skills β€’ Experience in digital media advertising β€’ Strong understanding of auto dealerships, both larger dealer groups and family-owned β€’ Demonstrated P&L ownership within a multi-million-dollar business unit β€’ Salesforce experience preferred β€’ Ability to travel up to 80% by airplane or car including overnight trips
