• Sales Director, Genomic Applications is a critical, high-level sales position • Spearhead sales development efforts to drive sample demand for Ultima systems • Identify and secure significant partnerships and/or collaborations with strategic customers • Create and execute quarterly and annual territory plans to meet or exceed revenue targets • Collaborate closely with company C-suite and internal leaders to navigate and win sales
• BS in Biology or related field, with a PhD preferred • Extensive experience in genomics, NGS, and their application in research, clinical, and applied markets, with over 8 years in genomics or clinical diagnostics sales, sales management, or market/business development • Willingness to travel 50% of the time and reside within 1-2 hours of a major US airport • Proven track record as the first commercial lead in a large region for a startup or new business • Skilled in engaging key opinion leaders, C-suite executives, and other decision-makers • Experienced in selling new technologies from inception, competing against established incumbents • Capable of influencing and leading decision-making across teams and functional groups • Strong business insight, with the ability to identify opportunities and manage complex sales situations • Proficient in distilling complex issues into concise talking points
