Description

β€’ Sales Director, Genomic Applications is a critical, high-level sales position β€’ Spearhead sales development efforts to drive sample demand for Ultima systems β€’ Identify and secure significant partnerships and/or collaborations with strategic customers β€’ Create and execute quarterly and annual territory plans to meet or exceed revenue targets β€’ Collaborate closely with company C-suite and internal leaders to navigate and win sales

Requirements

β€’ BS in Biology or related field, with a PhD preferred β€’ Extensive experience in genomics, NGS, and their application in research, clinical, and applied markets, with over 8 years in genomics or clinical diagnostics sales, sales management, or market/business development β€’ Willingness to travel 50% of the time and reside within 1-2 hours of a major US airport β€’ Proven track record as the first commercial lead in a large region for a startup or new business β€’ Skilled in engaging key opinion leaders, C-suite executives, and other decision-makers β€’ Experienced in selling new technologies from inception, competing against established incumbents β€’ Capable of influencing and leading decision-making across teams and functional groups β€’ Strong business insight, with the ability to identify opportunities and manage complex sales situations β€’ Proficient in distilling complex issues into concise talking points
