• Overview: • The Director of Substation will oversee all aspects of the company’s power distribution and substation projects, ensuring effective design, construction, and management of power services. • This role is responsible for driving the execution of large-scale power distribution and substation construction projects, managing engineering teams, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. • This remote role is ideally suited for candidates residing in Florida or the southern states, as occasional travel to project sites will be necessary.

Requirements

• Lead and manage the Power division, including engineering and construction teams, to ensure the successful execution of power distribution and substation projects. • Develop and implement strategies to optimize project efficiency and meet industry standards in power distribution. • Work closely with senior management to align the division’s objectives with overall company goals. • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of power distribution and substation projects • Coordinate with project managers to ensure all phases of construction—from design to completion—meet quality and performance requirements. • Manage project risks by identifying potential issues early and implementing mitigation strategies. • Provide technical direction for power distribution and substation engineering design, construction, and maintenance. • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies in power distribution and advise on their potential integration. • Mentor and develop engineering and project management teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work culture. • Provide training and development opportunities for staff to stay current with industry trends and best practices. • Oversee financial reporting and project cost analysis, ensuring the division operates within financial goals.
