Description

• Responsible for sourcing new sales consulting engagements • Selling existing and new consulting services including credit and debit, payment networks • Leverage industry network to build a consulting pipeline • Representing Velera at roadshows, conferences and other industry events • Track through Salesforce or other pipeline tools, stage of sales, close/won opportunities • Responsible for reporting risks identified to the appropriate team

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent combination of education and experience required • Master’s Degree preferred • 15 years sales experience with track record of selling at least $1MM worth of services annually • 10 years sales experience in the financial services industry • 5 years experience in a consulting firm • 5 years experience in payments industry • Ability to communicate effectively, and persuasively in verbal, written and presentation formats • Ability to lead multiple projects, work in fast paced environment and meet deadlines • Expert sales and networking knowledge with C-Suite executives in banking industry • Ability to price and negotiate fixed and hourly rate consulting contracts • Model high standards of confidentiality, discretion, ethics, independent judgement and insightful decision making
