• Identify sales opportunities and close EM/XRM orders within designated region. • Achieve sales targets and meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales goals. • Prepare accurate sales forecasts and maintain written sales opportunities progress. • Establish and maintain strong connections with key customers. • Monitor competitor activities and industry developments. • Collaborate with local marketing, applications, and customer service. • Participate in trade shows, conferences, and networking events. • Stay up to date with the latest advancements in microscopy technology. • Cultivate connections with professionals and potential partners. • Seek professional development opportunities to enhance sales skills. • Actively listen to customers and tailor sales pitch to address their needs. • Demonstrate flexibility in sales approach and adapt communication style.

Requirements

• Must have experience in capital equipment sales, needs-based solutions. • Must have knowledge of the microscopy market, applications, equipment, customers’ needs, competitive landscape, and technologies preferred. • Prior experience in technical sales preferred. • Must have prior experience in remote work. • Working knowledge of high-end microscopy, including electron, laser scanning, and light microscopy, and imaging techniques preferred. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels. • Excellent organizational skills and teamwork. • Ability in problem-solving and negotiation. • BSc/BA in business administration or in Materials Sciences or Engineering preferred.
