•Acolad is the global leader in content and language solutions. •Its mission is to support companies in every industry to scale across markets and enable growth through cutting-edge technology and localization expertise. •Joining Acolad means a unique opportunity for professional development through a collaborative global environment that promotes talent and creativity. •We have a current opening for a Business Development Director with Linguistic Validation experience within our North American team. •Do you have 5 plus years of experience selling in the LifeScience Linguistic Validation - Localization/Translation Industry? •This is a senior strategic enterprise & mid-market sales position. •The ideal candidate will have Linguistic Validation Experience with eCOA experience as a plus. •Your positive attitude and consultative approach are key to establishing, managing, and maintaining excellent relationships with your assigned customers, leading to high customer satisfaction, increased revenue, better margins, and long-term growth. •Responsibilities include developing strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expanding the customer base, and effectively communicating the value proposition through proposals and presentations.

Requirements

•BA/BS degree or equivalent. •5-7 years of experience as a localization sales executive, sales manager or sales and marketing director within the Localization Industry. •Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level. •Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close. •Proven ability to position products against competitors. •Demonstrable experience in net new sales, developing client-focused, differentiated, and achievable solutions. •Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills. •Excellent verbal and written communications skills. •Customer centric selling an advantage. •Experience in creating and selling solutions (i.e. Digital Marketing Solutions, Global Content Management, and Technical Connector Solutions). •Advanced knowledge of all aspects of the localization process, including extensive knowledge of translation and workflow tools. •Ability to travel up to 50%.
