Description

• AEM is the global leader in innovative weather, wildfire, and water monitoring solutions. • The BDM will identify and secure new business opportunities within hydrology sector. • Lead the development of proposals and bids for federal opportunities. • Build and maintain relationships with government agencies and hydrological institutions.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within the hydrology or environmental sectors. • Strong understanding of hydrological monitoring solutions, water management technologies, and federal procurement processes. • Demonstrated ability to support customers in identifying and securing grant funding for large-scale environmental projects. • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, hydrology, environmental science, business, or a related field. • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. • Familiarity with environmental data platforms, hydrological sensors, and real-time monitoring solutions. • Ability to lead complex sales cycles, collaborate across departments, and manage multiple stakeholder relationships. • Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time within the continental US.
