Description

• The Account Executive supports the Business Unit President and is responsible for all customer service functions. • The Account Executive speaks daily with customers, fielding questions and processing endorsements, invoices, and policies. • The Account Executive meets periodically with customers to conduct program reviews, discuss policy terms and conditions, and ensure overall customer satisfaction. • The ideal candidate develops trusted relationships with customers and recognizes gaps in coverage to see opportunities to increase revenue through upselling, cross-selling, and innovation. • The ideal candidate will support the business unit leader in the reporting of new and renewal business flow, hit ratios, and market intelligence. • The ideal candidate will represent the business unit at trade shows and industry events.

Requirements

• Minimum 2-3 years of insurance Account Management experience. • Experience in MGA/MGU or brokerage environments preferred. • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution preferred. • Licensed in or willing to obtain within 6 months of hire Accident & Health and/or Life & Health in state of domicile. • Familiarity with specialized retail agencies across the country. • Preferred but not required knowledge of A&H coverage including Blanket Accident, Special Risk, Student Accident, CAT Coverage, International Travel policy language, and risk management concepts. • Proficiency with Microsoft suite and ability to learn new policy administration systems to perform the job efficiently.
