β’ The Business Development Officer (BDO) for Asset Based Lending (ABL) is responsible for initiating new business opportunities and expanding client relationships. β’ You will focus on generating and closing Asset Based Lending opportunities while working closely with internal partners to cross-sell bank products and services. β’ Drive new business by developing relationships with COIs and highly motivated prospects, focusing on long-term, profitable opportunities. β’ Ensure compliance with Associated Banc-Corp credit policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines for all prospects. β’ Analyze financial information and coordinate due diligence, legal documentation, and the loan closing process. β’ Maintain detailed records of sales activities and networking relationships in SalesForce. β’ The expected travel for this role will be around 25% of the time, including overnight stays.
β’ Education Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in Business, Finance, Accounting or other applicable disciplines. β’ Required Experience 8-10 years Asset Based Lending or business-to-business sales and business development skills. β’ Knowledge of non-borrowing products, past track record of sales and client management success. β’ Required 10-12 years Asset Based Lending or business-to-business sales and business development skills. β’ Knowledge of non-borrowing products, past track record of sales and client management success.
