• The Business Development Officer (BDO) for Asset Based Lending (ABL) is responsible for initiating new business opportunities and expanding client relationships. • You will focus on generating and closing Asset Based Lending opportunities while working closely with internal partners to cross-sell bank products and services. • Drive new business by developing relationships with COIs and highly motivated prospects, focusing on long-term, profitable opportunities. • Ensure compliance with Associated Banc-Corp credit policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines for all prospects. • Analyze financial information and coordinate due diligence, legal documentation, and the loan closing process. • Maintain detailed records of sales activities and networking relationships in SalesForce. • The expected travel for this role will be around 25% of the time, including overnight stays.
• Education Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in Business, Finance, Accounting or other applicable disciplines. • Required Experience 8-10 years Asset Based Lending or business-to-business sales and business development skills. • Knowledge of non-borrowing products, past track record of sales and client management success. • Required 10-12 years Asset Based Lending or business-to-business sales and business development skills. • Knowledge of non-borrowing products, past track record of sales and client management success.
