Description

β€’ The Business Development Officer (BDO) for Asset Based Lending (ABL) is responsible for initiating new business opportunities and expanding client relationships. β€’ You will focus on generating and closing Asset Based Lending opportunities while working closely with internal partners to cross-sell bank products and services. β€’ Drive new business by developing relationships with COIs and highly motivated prospects, focusing on long-term, profitable opportunities. β€’ Ensure compliance with Associated Banc-Corp credit policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines for all prospects. β€’ Analyze financial information and coordinate due diligence, legal documentation, and the loan closing process. β€’ Maintain detailed records of sales activities and networking relationships in SalesForce. β€’ The expected travel for this role will be around 25% of the time, including overnight stays.

Requirements

β€’ Education Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in Business, Finance, Accounting or other applicable disciplines. β€’ Required Experience 8-10 years Asset Based Lending or business-to-business sales and business development skills. β€’ Knowledge of non-borrowing products, past track record of sales and client management success. β€’ Required 10-12 years Asset Based Lending or business-to-business sales and business development skills. β€’ Knowledge of non-borrowing products, past track record of sales and client management success.
