• DuBois Chemicals seeks a sales professional for Paper Chemicals Virginia territory. • Responsible for growing and maintaining business in the pulp and paper region. • Promoting and selling the organization’s products to achieve revenue and margin targets. • Develop new business by identifying customer needs and improvement opportunities. • Manage key accounts with growth opportunities. • Team-selling with service representatives and specialists to meet customer goals.

Requirements

• Five or more years of experience in the pulp and paper industry. • A bachelor’s degree in paper engineering, chemical engineering, or similar is preferred. • A background in sales to the pulp and paper industry is preferred. • Ability to build and manage long-term business relationships. • Strong interpersonal skills for effective customer consultation, negotiation, and problem resolution. • Ability to learn the DuBois technologies and utilize that knowledge to fulfill customer needs. • Strong computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to learn other business management tools. • Experience or ability to learn lab test procedures to validate product performance. • Ability to travel daily, with up to 50% overnight travel.
