β’ Responsible for all aspects of the sales cycle including qualifying leads, 'cold' contact calling, learning client objectives, arranging and delivering value-add demonstrations, conducting in-person meetings β’ Expanding our presence in the US market β’ Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, driving growth across the US β’ Establish new business accounts through high volume daily cold-calling, prospecting at events, high activity on social media & contact databases, lead follow-up, etc. β’ Retain and grow existing accounts by ensuring needs are met and building trust β’ Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to potential clients β’ Establish and develop strategic relationships with C-level executives β’ Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients and partners β’ Manage your designated territory / account sales pipeline and think of strategic ways to develop your region and increase revenue β’ Familiarise yourself with the competitors and what sets us apart from the competition, and stay updated on industry trends β’ Work closely with IDTechEx teams (including analysts and marketing) and maintain analyst, client and industry relationships β’ Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams in both the US and UK to create effective strategies β’ Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve company goals, supporting company-wide activities and initiatives
β’ A minimum of 3 years' business to business sales experience with consultative selling skills β’ Experience in up-selling and customer account management in large and small organizations β’ Able to travel extensively β’ A person with initiative, results driven, highly self-motivated with the ability to adapt quickly β’ Positive, can-do attitude with sense of urgency and initiative β’ Creative thinking and problem-solving skills β’ You will have experience in a sales/business development role with proven results and YoY increased revenue β’ You will have experience in selling products and services (preferably subscriptions, research reports and marketing services but open to sales professionals from other industries, as well) β’ You will have excellent interpersonal, negotiation and IT skills β’ Excellent attention to detail
