Description

• Heavy industry is the foundation of modern society, essential for rebuilding infrastructure • Mission to create policies and strategies to reduce emissions and improve social equity • Role involves building movement infrastructure and strategies for climate, justice, and jobs • Responsibilities include coaching staff, fundraising, and managing cross-sectoral power building • Focus on mapping the landscape and conducting power analyses to identify strengths and gaps

Requirements

• At least 10 years of increasing responsibility in robust coalition development, power building, and capacity/field/movement building • Experience assisting/leading strategy development in coalition spaces and with diverse people/perspectives • Experience designing/implementing organizing efforts in local, state, regional, and national settings • Experience supervising and directing the work of colleagues and/or direct reports • Strong analysis of movement theory, implementation, and the intersectionality of racial capitalism and other systems of oppression • Mastery of relationship-building skills and strong existing relationships with diverse external constituencies • Experience developing and implementing a power analysis, community mapping, and/or landscape assessment • Proven track record of creating a clear vision with attainable goals that build power centered around equity and justice
