• Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities to achieve sales targets and expand market share with the locum tenens sector. • Oversee the short and long-term sales and marketing planning. • Conduct research and analyze market conditions, customer needs, and competitive landscapes. • Develop and execute business development strategies to drive business growth and market penetration. • Cultivate and map out relationships with key stakeholders crucial to business expansion. • Attend and represent the company at conferences, tradeshows, and industry events to network and promote services. • Lead the preparation and completion of Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs). • Negotiate and close high-value deals with clients. • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of business growth initiatives. • Monitor and analyze market trends to proactively identify opportunities for growth and innovation. • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field. • Proven successful track record of 5+ years in business development sales within the workforce solutions or locum tenens industry. • Demonstrated success in driving new business growth and achieving sales targets. • Experience working in a startup environment or with early-stage companies is a plus. • Ability to travel as required to attend conferences, tradeshows, and prospective client meetings. • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. • Strong negotiation and closing skills with a consultative sales approach. • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills. • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market opportunities and develop effective business strategies. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and adapt to changing priorities. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively. • Working knowledge of Salesforce or related CRM systems. • Working knowledge of MSP and VMS operations. • Working knowledge of document management systems. • Working knowledge of Microsoft office suite.
