• Leads business development with (re)insurance companies to source ILS transactions • Owns the transaction process from the initial pitch to the risk originator to winning the deal including highly complex financial modeling, presentations, and due diligence • Accountable for deal execution including investor marketing, due diligence, and negotiations leading to transaction closing • Provide feedback to product teams developing platform features for (re)insurance companies
• 10+ years previous experience in investment banking, strategic advisory, or consulting roles working with insurance and reinsurance companies • Extensive network within (re)insurance company executives • In-depth knowledge of insurance industry, familiarity with insurance linked securities or structured finance products is a plus • Entrepreneurial mindset with proven ability to sell new financial products to c-suite executives • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with specific ability to communicate concepts and ideas concisely and defend their validity • Very strong quantitative and analytical skills (including excel modeling) • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or other graduate degree is a plus
