β’ Originate new loans to qualified businesses as defined in the US SBA and the USDA B & I Program. β’ Originate SBA and USDA loans from small business clients in accordance with established annual goals and objectives. β’ Originate new business through paid and non-paid referrals and direct customer contacts. β’ Identify and develop or expand referral relationships to source client/loan opportunities. β’ Work with GGL division team members on all loan submissions and qualification matters. β’ Manage client relationships and expectations of new accounts by taking loan applications and providing ongoing customer service. β’ Act as primary liaison with the client and handle any issues/problems promptly. β’ Follow-up on any exceptions or account matters. β’ Make periodic site visits to SBA clients within defined market region. β’ Cross-sell bank services to new and existing loan relationships and manage relationships, as required. β’ Establish referral contacts within the community. β’ Maintain strong working relationships with referral contacts. β’ Educate clients of advantages and create brand recognition in the market. β’ Attend local SBA functions to establish Banks presence and cultivate CDC/USDA relationships.
β’ An undergraduate degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of training and experience. β’ Atleast 5 years of SBA lending experience required β’ Experience in Marketing, Sales, and Business Development required β’ Demonstrated prior business success in SBA & USDA B & I Lending/Sales β’ Have an active COI Network to source SBA & USDA opportunities to fit either program β’ Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills β’ A team player able to work effectively in a team, multi-tasking environment β’ Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, e.g. Excel, Word, Outlook β’ Strong working knowledge of financial analysis including cash flow, balance sheet, financial ratios, collateral, and economic and industry analysis. β’ General knowledge of loan structuring and loan pricing to manage ROI for the loans generated.
