Description

β€’ Prospect and initiate conversations with new independent insurance agents. β€’ Establish and develop agency relationships and process agency terminations. β€’ Responsible for meeting monthly targets for increased submissions. β€’ Manage monthly submission goals. β€’ Track large accounts through the lifecycle of a submission. β€’ Make formal sales presentations and follow-up on calls for existing and prospecting independent insurance agents. β€’ Collaborate with the underwriting team to ensure accounts are written and hit production results accordingly. β€’ Document all activities, including contacts, calls, appointments, and opportunities within our Agency Relationship Management system. β€’ Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

β€’ Strong communication skills, including presenting, phone calls, emails, etc. β€’ Must be comfortable with negotiating and leveraging a consultative sales approach β€’ Possess a high sense of urgency and self-confidence β€’ Strong work ethic and positive attitude β€’ Passionate, energetic, self-motivated who thrives and can achieve sales goals β€’ Perseveres in a growing, changing, and dynamic work environment β€’ Competitive while working as part of a team β€’ Strong verbal and written communication skills β€’ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, G Suite, or similar software β€’ Comprehension of a task-based workflow system to manage prospective and current customers and accounts β€’ May require travel up to 10% of the time (Travel to association and trade shows, agency visits with other insurance services employees and/or individually, and business meetings potentially with agents and/or insureds)
