📋 Description

• The Construction Sales Representative will be responsible for partnering with the sales team, and managing the installation and new construction of loading docks and commercial door equipment. • Help generate new business opportunities, and meet sales goals by leveraging existing relationships, prospecting, and assisting the Account Executive as needed. • Ownership of project management from development, customer engagement, to production. • Ensure that they remain on schedule and within budget. • Manage vendor invoice review to ensure accurate and timely payments; document invoices, and any contract amendments or change orders in appropriate trackers.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Construction Science, Construction Management and/or Architecture from an accredited four-year institution or a minimum of ten (10) years on the job relative experience. • 5-7 years of experience in planning, managing and coordination of design and construction projects. • Knowledge of NYC Construction Codes and permitting process. • Strong understanding of and background in project management/construction management. • Ability to independently draft memos, manage spreadsheets, and create documents using Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Project and PowerPoint. • Strong sense of initiative with respect to resolving project issues and generally fulfilling job duties. • Ability to think creatively and contribute to the project’s success. • Detail-oriented and strong problem-solving skills. • Commitment to teamwork and an integrated approach to project delivery. • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally at all levels – externally with tenants, consultants, and contractors, and internally with the Operations, Legal, Security, and Development Departments. • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
