📋 Description

• National Forest Foundation (NFF) is pleased to offer a regular, full-time position to a candidate who will be an integral part of the Institutional Giving team by coordinating with institutional funding prospects to grow and steward philanthropic support for NFF programs and projects in U.S. Forest Service Region 9, as well as for unrestricted funding and other NFF priorities. • The position will report to the Senior Director of Institutional Giving and is responsible for generating funds from new and existing sources with an emphasis on companies, foundations, and government grant opportunities to advance the NFF mission. • The position will work closely with field staff and other NFF departments to lead fundraising efforts with institutions based in Region 9.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. • Minimum of three years’ experience with proven results in fundraising, including prospecting, cultivation, proposal development, and stewardship. • Experience and interest in conservation issues and a nonprofit environment preferred. • Excellent communication skills, including grant writing, report writing, editing, and telephone communication. • Experience in high-volume donor outreach and aligning donor goals with NFF’s programs, projects, and mission. • Demonstrated proficiency in common office procedures and software, including Microsoft 365 and Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, as well as familiarity with CRM systems.
