• Manage sustainability standards and policy risks • Address technology and market barriers • Leverage strategic and unconventional partnerships • Support engagement and partnership with relevant external stakeholders • Maintain up-to-date monitoring of relevant climate, clean energy, and sustainability-related legislative proposals
🎯 Requirements
• Advanced Degree in Environmental Science, Public Policy, Economics, Management or equivalent • 7+ years of experience in sustainability and clean energy technology issues • Broad technical knowledge base across sustainability, clean energy, and carbon market topics • Experience working with industry coalitions, research groups, public officials, regulatory agencies, advocacy groups, etc. • Experience developing and maintaining successful partnerships and coalitions • Familiarity with federal, state, and local legislative and regulatory processes • Thoughtful and structured research approach • Confident in building rapport and communicating with leadership executives • Ability to structure and have ownership over one’s own work and time • Humility with one's own knowledge gaps • Comfort with uncertainty and flexibility
