Description

• Under the supervision of the National Director of Annual Giving the Director of Annual Giving will play a crucial role in expanding the National Wild Turkey Federation's (NWTF) donor base within the Mid-Atlantic territory, which includes North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, and Delaware. • Oversee a portfolio of existing donors and prospects, nurturing relationships to enhance engagement and retention. • Create and implement targeted strategies to acquire new donors and upgrade current ones with a focus on annual giving ($2,000-$10,000) and major gifts (commitments from $5,000-$50,000). • Work closely with NWTF team members, volunteers and state board members to coordinate fundraising efforts to help maximize our donor’s impact for the NWTF’s mission. • Utilize established annual giving clubs and major donor levels to drive fundraising initiatives and donor engagement. • Will serve as the driving force in the creation and execution of donor cultivation events, while also providing support for special projects as needed contributing to the overall mission of the NWTF.

Requirements

• Excellent interpersonal, relationship and team building skills. • Excellent communication skills; written, verbal, and listening. • Commitment to personally cultivating, soliciting, and closing major gift commitments. • Strong planning, organization, leadership, and management skills. • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other software. • Experience in using computer-based information systems in support of fundraising programs. • Ability and willingness to travel extensively in performance of responsibilities. • Valid drivers’ license.
