• Achieve assigned sales goals for targeted customer segments. • Prospect and develop business, respond to RFPs, develop proposals and negotiate lab service agreements. • Coordinate account resources with various teams. • Build market position by developing relationships with pharmaceutical companies. • Develop tactical sales and marketing plans to grow business. • Identify prospects and close opportunities. • Maintain customer connections and deliver presentations. • Work collaboratively with teams to support and drive revenue growth. • Travel to attend industry conferences and meetings. • Maintain accurate forecast and sales pipeline in CRM system.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree is required • 5+ years of experience in Sales within Targeted Customer Segments • Master's Degree preferred • Successful contract negotiation skills • Excellent presentation, written and oral communication skills • Experience in selling diagnostic services with genetic testing sales preferred • Established contacts within pharmaceutical market • Comfort in consultative selling approach, lead generation, account planning and research, CRM tracking and reporting • Highly motivated self-starter with strong interpersonal skills • Superior time management with adeptness in effectively identifying and prioritizing critical actions according to business requirements. • Process orientated, with knowledge of selling, marketing, and the customer care process.
