• Serve as a trusted advisor to small business clients • Provide consultative guidance and best in class service • Work in a high-volume environment and mentor Assistant Account Managers • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers • Leverage commercial P&C insurance knowledge to service existing accounts • Develop new business opportunities • Participate in the retention of renewal business • Interact with producers to prepare specifications and underwriting data • Ensure clients have continuous and proper coverage • Review current policies and provide placement recommendations • Support the implementation of new lines of coverage • Conduct coverage analysis and provide accurate quotations

Requirements

• 3 - 5 years’ experience of Commercial Lines client management experience • Valid P&C brokers’ license, college degree preferred • Industry specific designations preferred- CISR, ARM or similar • Proficient in insurance agency management systems, AMS 360 and Work Smart preferred • Extensive knowledge of Commercial Lines underwriting, coverage, rate analysis/procedures • Ability to clearly articulate these products/plans to clients and underwriters, including compliance and legislative information • Understanding of marketplace trends and best practices to best meet client needs • Ability to collect, interpret and/or analyze complex data and information • Flexible, and able to work effectively under pressure, handling multiple tasks with interruptions and changing priorities
