Description

β€’ Identify and target prospective collegiate sports teams and athletic departments. β€’ Conduct research to understand each prospect's needs, seasonality, and travel requirements. β€’ Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals. β€’ Schedule and conduct calls, meetings, and negotiations with decision-makers. β€’ Focus on selling travel services to collegiate sports teams. β€’ Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, adjusting strategies as necessary. β€’ Establish and maintain strong relationships with coaches, athletic directors, and administrative/operations staff. β€’ Work closely with the internal operations team to ensure seamless service delivery to clients. β€’ Provide feedback and insights to internal teams to enhance product offerings and customer experience.

Requirements

β€’ Bachelor's degree in Business, Sports Management, or a related field. β€’ Experience working with or selling to collegiate coaches, administrators or athletic departments. β€’ Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience in a quota-holding role. β€’ Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs. β€’ Experience working with collegiate athletic programs is highly desirable. β€’ Strong understanding of the collegiate sports landscape and seasonality. β€’ Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. β€’ Ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse client base. β€’ Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills. β€’ Proficient in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite. β€’ Willing to travel occasionally as required to meet with clients or industry events.
