Description

• Participates in design, strategic planning, and administration of utilization management programs. • Ensures systems and processes demonstrate value of utilization management programs. • Enhances operational efficiency to maximize staff productivity. • Works with departments to manage dental utilization costs. • Develops process and program redesigns. • Manages department budget and improves efficiency. • Maintains relationships with clients and stakeholders. • Meets regulatory and compliance standards.

Requirements

• Management/supervisory experience, 10 or more years. • 5 years clinical experience in the dental industry is a plus. • Requires research and analytic skills. • Knowledge and understanding of regulatory language. • Excellent oral and written communications skills. • Experience managing cross functional projects. • Knowledge of managed care health plans operations and HIPAA guidelines. • Experience and knowledge in intermediate computer skills.
