Partnering with providers and health plans, including CMS' new GUIDE dementia care model, Synapticure is dedicated to transforming the lives of millions of individuals and their families living with neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and ALS. • The VP, Growth – Care Partnerships will be responsible for developing new provider and payer partnerships to help Synapticure grow the number of patients and caregivers we serve through strategic referral relationships. This role will report to the President, and work closely with the executive team to manage and cultivate a pipeline, and lead the full lifecycle of business development from initial pitch meetings through contract negotiation.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Management, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred). • Minimum of 10 years of experience in healthcare, with a focus on health system, ACO and/or payer relationships. Demonstrated ability to drive growth with new partners. • Proven track record of growth pipeline ownership and management, with demonstrated success in driving growth and profitability. • Strong understanding of payer and provider business models, incentives and specialty provider contract models including FFS and value-based payments. • Strategic approach to leadership with the ability to effectively balance and prioritize multiple partnership opportunities. • Exceptional communicator across in-person and virtual settings, with the ability to tell stories using data to create alignment across clinical, finance and operational leaders at prospective partner organizations. • Reputation for creativity, dynamism, assertiveness, and tenacity. • Experience building and leading teams in growth stage organizations.
