β€’ Discover Grubhub’s next wave of great local restaurants: We need you to engage the most wanted restaurants in your territory and help us discover those hidden gems our diners are craving. β€’ Consult with restaurant owners on the benefits of joining Grubhub and having access to our rapidly growing community of hungry diners. β€’ Identify needs and goals of the restaurant and demonstrate how Grubhub can help grow their business. β€’ Conduct extensive cold calling, emailing, and social outreach to prospective decision makers to set appointments. β€’ Manage a territory and own the entire sales pipeline from prospecting to closing. β€’ Secure appointments with prospective clients to uncover needs and present the value of a partnership. β€’ Travel weekly in your local market and conduct in person meetings with decision makers in an effort to grow local restaurant networks. β€’ Exceed high-volume sales goals while working within a team environment. β€’ Be the market expert: gather restaurant feedback, monitor competitor activity, marketing opportunities, and provide recommendations for improvement to management. β€’ Ability to act as a mentor to our Inside Sales Executives and help guide in their first year at Grubhub.

Requirements

β€’ 2+ years of sales experience in an outside, B2B, role where you were consistently exceeding goals β€’ Successful experience presenting and selling in person β€’ Dynamic personality who possesses a positive attitude and desire to be great β€’ Thrive in a competitive team environment. You want to be the best β€’ Coach-ability. Open to new ideas and feedback. Constantly looking to improve your skills β€’ Ability to think strategically and make sound judgment to plan to achieve goals β€’ Persuasive with demonstrated history of success in a fast paced, transactional, quota driven role β€’ High School Degree or GED β€’ Got These? Even Better: B2B transactional sales experience β€’ Restaurant industry or hospitality experience is a plus β€’ CRM Experience, preferable with Salesforce.com
