Description

• Present, promote, and sell primarily Agronomy services to prospective and existing customers • Segment and sub-segment the market in the assigned territory and create a structured approach to prospecting and selling • Develop and maintain positive, trusted and partnering relationships with prospects, at both head office level and bottom up with influential end users • Provide feedback regarding customer usage and needs to Product Management, Marketing and other teams • Keep all customer and activity information live and up-to-date in Salesforce, and meet other Salesforce pipeline and data requirements • Provide feedback to the marketing, product and sales enablement teams on content required by prospects in the sales process

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in sales and/or business development • Demonstrated track record of sales and business development achievement in a hands-on environment • Must be equally comfortable selling to in-field locations as well as to C-level executives • Proven knowledge and network of agribusiness companies • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including excellent presentation skills • Ability to establish good relationships with customers and collaborate at all levels internally and externally • Excellent at managing time, priorities, and expenses • Able to work independently while being a team player in a remote setting using virtual communication tools • Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual will need to be or become proficient in Google Suite applications and Salesforce • Travel required to meet with customers as needed. • In addition, the position may require occasional travel to industry events and trade shows
