• Thermo Fisher Scientific’s Transplant Diagnostics Division launched a new laboratory services strategic business segment • Role focuses on positioning services in clinical settings for diagnostic results • Responsible for identifying and closing business opportunities in transplant clinician contacts and promoting services • Fast-paced role requiring business development for novel pre-transplant immune response and urinary biomarker assays • Build partnerships with transplant clinicians and analyze industry dynamics for growth opportunities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required preferably in business, life sciences, economics or other related field • 7+ years of in-depth commercial, product management, business development and/or marketing in a related industry • Experience in the fields of transplantation, immunogenetics, and/or HLA is strongly preferred • Strong intuition for business and a proven track record to develop and maintain professional and personal relationships with key business partners and customers positively impacting business growth • Knowledge of the clinical diagnostics space • Excellent communication • Excellent presentation and analytical skills • Proven success working in a global, matrixed-environment with ability to influence without direct authority • Ability to understand, analyze and assimilate sophisticated issues, draw accurate conclusions and formulate clear strategy and policies • Ability to travel up to 50%
