• As the Director of Sales - New Business Development, you'll play a pivotal role in identifying and securing new opportunities in the Retail, QSR and CPG sectors. • This position is focused on strategic growth, lead generation, and expanding Tosca's market presence. • You'll partner cross functionally, align with customer needs, and deliver innovative solutions that drive real value. • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team that is motivated to achieve and exceed sales targets. • Take ownership of Tosca’s emerging business in the Retail, QSR, and CPG markets by identifying and closing strategic opportunities. • Contribute to the creation and execution of a New Business Sales Strategy to achieve aggressive growth targets. • Collaborate with clients to understand their supply chain needs, offering tailored solutions that drive efficiency and sustainability. • Recommend cutting-edge solutions, highlight Tosca’s unique value proposition, and overcome barriers to entry. • Analyze trends, competitive activity, and economic indicators to identify growth opportunities. • Partner with teams across finance, operations, marketing, and customer experience to ensure alignment and execution of initiatives. • Develop forecasts, analyze results, and provide insights to align team performance with budget targets.
• Leadership Experience: Proven success in building, leading, and developing sales teams to achieve ambitious goals. • Sales Expertise: Minimum of 8+ years in sales leadership roles within retail, perishables, or consumer packaged goods supply chains. • Education: Bachelor’s Degree required. • Strategic Sales Skills: Demonstrated ability to prospect, close deals, and develop strategic accounts while scaling team efforts. • Analytical Ability: Strong proficiency in supply chain cost modeling and data-driven decision-making. • Collaboration Skills: Exceptional ability to work cross-functionally and influence at all levels of an organization. • Travel: Up to 50% travel may be required.
