β’ Achieving annual sales quota by cultivating strong, consultative relationships with educational institutions around the country. β’ Building a strong pipeline of opportunity within your territory by attending industry events, researching potential leads, networking, social media exposure, and following up on qualified leads. β’ Evangelizing the uConnect platform and revolution at industry events and across your social media channels. β’ Working closely with Product and Marketing teams to help us get better/faster/stronger and stay responsive to customer needs. β’ Delivering demos and sales presentations both online and in-person. β’ Identifying new areas for sales opportunity and revenue growth.
β’ Background as a Business Development Representative and experience handling a high-volume of outbound and inbound interactions. β’ Proven track record in delivering $500K+ in annual sales. β’ Experience of closing consultative customer deals in a B2B sales environment (bonus points for SaaS B2B). β’ A knack for identifying and developing customer champions to improve conversion. β’ Disciplined working in a CRM system (eg, Hubspot) to manage your pipeline. β’ Demonstrated track record of opening new business relationships with mid-sized and larger institutions and / or businesses. β’ Comfortable working in a remote-first setting, including working knowledge of common tools for collaborating remotely (ie. Zoom, Slack, G Suite etc.)
