Unified Patents is seeking a highly motivated Director / VP of Sales & Business Development to drive growth and expand our client base within our sales team. β’ Experience in selling to inhouse and law firm Patent / Intellectual Property attorneys / executives is highly desired. β’ You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies to generate new business opportunities and maximize revenue from new and existing accounts. β’ Your help is key in identifying market trends, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. β’ Key Responsibilities: β’ Work within a sales team and interface with other part of Unified to drive revenue goals. β’ Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets. β’ Identify and pursue new business opportunities while cultivating relationships with existing clients. β’ Analyze market dynamics and competitive landscape to inform strategy and decision-making. β’ Collaborate with the marketing team to align on brand positioning and promotional activities.
Experience successfully selling to in-house or outside counsel Patent / Intellectual Property Lawyers β’ Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; JD and /or MBA preferred. β’ Minimum of 7 years of experience in sales, with a proven track record in business development and managing a sales team. β’ Strong understanding of the legal technology, patent, or intellectual property markets is highly desirable. β’ Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. β’ Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable sales strategies. β’ Entrepreneurial spirit with a willingness to take initiative and drive change.
