Description

• Initiate and follow-up with customers and provide to sell or resolve problems, answer questions, correspondence and reports • Sell Benefit Express to health insurance brokers as well as direct to employers. • Meet the assigned quota on an annual basis. • Prepares and presents proposals, based on customer needs • Provides advisory support and assistance to the department supervisor as needed • Attends sales seminars, sales meetings or educational activities to stay up-to-date on the latest developments, trends, regulations in the market place • Performs other work-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret contracts, policies, documents and regulations. • Ability to write reports and business correspondence • Ability to effectively establish rapport, present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers and the general public • Skill and ability to meet people, listen and sell • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, pro-rata, percentages, and volume • Ability to apply concepts of basic accounting • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or schedule form • Knowledge of computer skills. MS Office is preferred • Has territory management experience • High school diploma and two to three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. • College degree preferred • Industry experience and sales experience is preferred
