• Sell, onboard and activate large merchants who use Wisetack’s financing products. • Drive the sales process from start to close for merchants referred by partners. • Onboard prospects and help them become active users of Wisetack financing, generating issuance volume. • Develop a high-quality pipeline of mid-market and enterprise merchants. • Regularly meet with partners to ensure alignment as we target priority merchants. • Perform product demonstrations with prospects using screen share over Zoom. • Develop a detailed understanding of Wisetack’s value proposition, partnerships, and product features. • Develop insights about your target group and communicate product and marketing needs back through both Wisetack’s organization and our partners. • Collect feedback from merchants to improve partnerships and integrations. • Demonstrate good pipeline hygiene by maintaining sales pipeline and activity log on Salesforce. • Attend industry conferences as needed to generate new leads.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field • 2+ years in Sales, Business Development, or Partnerships with a track record of exceeding targets and experience working in a incentive-driven compensation model • Hunter mentality, with a high degree of comfort executing all stages of the sales lifecycle, from initial outreach (via email, LinkedIn, cold calling, or in person) through to sales closing, onboarding, and activation • Ability to work closely with cross-functional internal and external teams (e.g., Partnerships, Merchant Growth, Marketing, etc.) • Comfortable dealing with high-level stakeholders • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interface and influence at the senior levels • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and with strong time management skills • Creativity and strong critical reasoning skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment • Strong passion for Wisetack’s mission, and for the businesses that comprise our partners and customers • Ability to work effectively in an exclusively remote work environment • The right candidate will be intellectually curious, hardworking, self-starting, customer-oriented, and will always prioritize integrity over short term results
