Description

• Full-time opening for a Director of Sales in the ERCOT Region. • Will report to the Vice President Sales – Americas. • Develop and manage a sales pipeline including project developers and independent power producer accounts. • Focus on large scale energy deployment. • Direct and support the sales strategy with established and new accounts. • Supported by the Sales Engineering team in developing project details and proposals. • Originate new business opportunities for Energy Storage Solutions (ESS). • Accurately forecast and deliver sales ranging in magnitude from $5 - $200M+. • Own customer relationship and opportunity business cases (Capex & Opex). • Manage and grow long-term relationships with key customer accounts throughout the energy storage project lifecycle. • Prepare and submit customer proposals for energy storage solutions. • Adhere to federal and state regulations and all company policies, processes, and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in finance, economics, engineering, science, or energy management. • Master’s Degree in business or technical field is preferred. • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in energy storage sales or business development role. • Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in a professional business environment. • Understanding of the utility industry, independent power producers (IPPs), and North American Independent System Operator (ISO). • Comprehensive understanding of the energy/power sector, including energy storage financing, construction, operations, maintenance, and economic drivers. • Solid understanding of relevant local legislation, regulatory landscape, and the requirements of doing business in the North American energy storage industry. • Demonstrated success influencing senior-level stakeholders in utility, IPP, or large commercial energy environments. • High attention to detail, with demonstrated ability to drive complex opportunities to profitable closure. • Strong technical aptitude, critical thinking, and analytical skills. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SalesForce.com. • Experience with a top-tier management consulting or investment banking firm, governmental energy regulator, or Independent System Operator/Regional Transmission Organization (ISO/RTO) is preferred. • Fluency in English, with superior oral and written communication skills. • Authorized to work in the USA without Company sponsorship. • Ability to travel domestically and internationally, approximately 25-50%.
