• Aker Systems was founded in 2017 by a team of experienced technology professionals who recognised an opportunity to provide highly secure enterprise data platforms to large organisations. • We build and operate ground-breaking, ultra-secure, high performance, cloud-based data infrastructure for the enterprise. • Our proprietary technology solutions drive performance and reduce costs while helping our clients to improve the management and sharing of data across their organisations. • In 2024, Aker Systems won the Breakthrough Culture Awards highlighting growth companies putting culture first. • In 2020 Aker Systems was recognised as a ‘One to Watch’ on the Sunday Times Tech Track. • The Company was also recognised at the Thames Valley Tech Awards 2020; winning the Thames Valley Tech Company of the year, the Emerging Tech Company and High Growth Tech Business categories. • We encourage people of all different backgrounds and identities to apply. • We are committed to maintaining an inclusive, and supportive place for you to do your very best work. • As New Business Sales Executive, you are responsible for leading Aker’s growth by supporting, managing and leading the origination and closing of sales opportunities across the entire spectrum of Aker’s capabilities. • This includes the creation and leadership of strategic, larger and more complex sales. • You will work collaboratively with pre-sales, bid management and our technical delivery teams to create compelling proposals that encourage our customers to buy from Aker.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years selling across the spectrum of your assigned vertical sector with deep understanding of sector landscape, competition and buying trends • 10+ years selling multi-tower deals (complex IT services, AO, IO, Journey to Cloud, Cloud, digital, data platforms etc.) and sales quota attainment against a firm annual sales target • Experience of successfully securing contracts through tenders • Experience with C-level and Senior Executive client relationship building and management • Experience with shaping, solutioning and negotiating large complex, creative, and innovative deals • Proven ability to work proactively, creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment • Desire to work in a learning-based data technology and data engineering environment with experience of data acquisition, data sharing, data science, entity matching, AI and machine learning
