• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related fields • A minimum of 5 years of experience supporting Business Development activities within the Public Sector • Proven track record of success in capture management, business development, or related roles within the defense contracting industry • Experience with federal acquisition regulations and government procurement processes • An inherent self-starter who is self-motivated with strong leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills • Requires the ability to effectively work in a fast paced, high demand environment with a determination for success through effective business development methodologies • High degree of integrity when dealing with sensitive or proprietary information • A solid history of relevant experience working for a Defense Contractor is required • Occasional travel will be required • Creativity and adaptability in problem-solving • Ability to work with clients to understand their needs • Strong organizational and time-management skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Professional presence
