• The Sr. Business Development Manager - Retail will be responsible for driving our new retail channel sales strategy across the US marketplace. • This role will manage the ongoing business development activities in both retail and wholesale as well as work to help execute our long-term strategy within brick & mortar retail. • This role will work collaboratively across our operations, product, marketing, and retail teams to drive activities to support these new channels and growth initiatives. • This role will report to the Head of Retail and manage the company's existing Wholesale Team and ongoing business development initiatives.
• 10+ years of experience in retail CPG, preferably working in Alternate Channels as described above. • Experience managing large retail accounts with both brick & mortar and eCommerce outlets preferred. • Excellent communication skills—both internally and externally. • Experience in strategic planning for growth and expansion of new channels and how that should inform key company decisions. • Experience managing multiple retailers, internal stakeholders, and third-party services with strong attention to detail, a high level of organization, and excellent follow-through. • Experience with wholesale channel and independent customers. • Able to think at an enterprise level, while managing at the customer level. • Serve as the voice of the customer to internal stakeholders. • Interest in health and wellness, personal care, and/or eCommerce industries. • Experience working in consumer products industry is highly preferred. • Someone who gets things done without perfect resources is innovative and works with a sense of urgency. • Someone who has high standards takes ownership and is invested in the outcome. • Someone who proactively helps others stays positive and has a good sense of humor.
