β’ FIRST exists to prepare the young people of today for the world of tomorrow. β’ The mission of FIRST is to provide life-changing robotics programs that give young people the skills, confidence, and resilience to build a better world. β’ Join our team and let's work together to prepare young people for the future! β’ The FIRST Business Development Manager drives growth and sales for FIRST Programs within a designated territory and for specific FIRST program(s). β’ Key responsibilities include spearheading sales for a defined geography, closing deals, following up on leads, meeting annual sales goals and qualifying prospects.
β’ Creative problem solver who thrives in a customer-centric environment. β’ Typically requires a BA or BS in a related discipline. β’ Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience. β’ Self-motivated worker with excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks. β’ Strong written and verbal communication skillset with excellent presentation skills. β’ Experience with a CRM system such as Salesforce is required. β’ Experience with or exposure to FIRST programs (preferred). β’ Experience selling products in the K-12 education space (preferred). β’ Comfortable working in a remote team environment. β’ Ability to travel 30-40% of the time required.
