• Provide strategic and consultative management to new clients in our government solutions vertical. • Prospect and close new Government accounts within an assigned geography, owning the sales representative role in RFPs through to contract signatures. • Build a territory plan, evaluate, and revise as required to maximize business opportunities. • Build business cases and deliver client proposals with solutions, financial justifications and expected results to overcome objections and win the business with maximum revenue and margin. • Travel Required: Ability to travel approximately 40%.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent • 7+ years of experience in sales and/or relationship management functions • Government and Public Sector sales, “C-Level” (CEO, CFO, COO) sales experience with a focus on solutions selling, and the ability to build and sustain relationships at a senior level, gaining client trusted advisor status • Experience w/ eCRM tools, tracking and reporting pipeline, and achieving sales targets
