• Develops business plan for assigned territory consistent with sales plans • Conducts quality sales presentations to all targeted customers • Achieve quarterly sales goals adhering to ethical sales practices • Understands and demonstrates targeting principles • Develops pre-call planning strategy for key targets • Develops positive relationships with peers, customers, and managers • Ensures high levels of call and field productivity • Gathers information from offices, pharmacists, and others to develop territory strategies • Leverages sample program and literature to ensure physician awareness of products • Differentiates products from competitors and responds to customer issues appropriately • Actively pursue continuous learning and professional development on sales and product knowledge

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required • A minimum of 11 years of pharmaceutical sales experience • Documented history of successful performance • Demonstrated success in influence and negotiation skills • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Strong verbal, interpersonal and listening skills • Demonstrated leadership • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team member to deliver results • Demonstrated self-starter and highly motivated • Ability to learn, apply and communicate products and disease states over time • Proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook • Ability to travel • Must live within geography of responsibility or within reasonable driving distance; no relocation offered • Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record • Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading and writing English is required
