• Create exciting public relations campaigns that grab attention and inspire action. • Work with journalists, doctors, patients, investors, and scientists to tell stories that matter. • Handle day-to-day account activities of our life sciences clients. • Demonstrate prudent judgment and outstanding decision-making skills. • Represent the agency's clients to the press and public. • Assist with the development and the implementation of public relations strategies. • Proactively offer and implement new ideas and solutions to meet client needs. • Excel as a scientific storyteller and effectively translate scientific material. • Understand scientific information related to our clients and their competitors. • Work with agency’s content and marketing groups on special projects. • Compile quarterly and annual PR reports for clients.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2-4 years experience in the biopharma/bioscience public relations sector — agency experience a plus • Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in biology, journalism, communications, or other related field • Proven ability to interpret complex scientific content and translate this understanding for multiple lay, scientific, patient, and investor audiences • Demonstrated national media pitching experience — life sciences media experience preferred • Proven ability to manage long-term client accounts • Self-starter with strong organizational skills • Naturally curious and motivated to learn new things, and to innovate and grow • Able to collaborate across multiple disciplines and levels • An entrepreneurial spirit, and an exceptional problem solver • Driven to excel professionally in the position
