📋 Description

• The Business Development Representative reports to the Head of Business Development and plays a key role in the execution of the partner strategy for iBusiness Funding’s technology and services ecosystem. • Looking for a highly driven individual to develop new executive relationships, identify unique challenges, and secure new opportunities with financial service providers. • Role combines prospecting, consulting, strategic thinking, and collaboration. • Work closely with the Head of Business Development and Enterprise Account Executives to expand footprint. • Logo Hunting and Selling to Banks and Financial Institutions. • Drive business development efforts through research, outreach, calling, and emailing. • Develop in-depth knowledge of target accounts and plan a strategic approach. • Engage with key decision-makers and senior leaders to uncover business pain points. • Prepare and deliver presentations to clients, effectively articulating the value of iBusiness Funding’s solutions. • Attend industry conferences, networking events, and trade shows to identify new prospects and build relationships. • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including Product, Marketing, Sales, and Legal to ensure alignment on partner strategy.

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in sales, business development, and/or strategic partnerships. • Proven ability to engage in a consultative sales process, effectively navigating regulatory requirements, risk assessment, stakeholder alignment, and long sales cycles. • Sales experience in technology SaaS or financial services preferred. • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills, with proficiency in PowerPoint. • Highly motivated with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. • Ability to generate new and innovative approaches to problems. • Experience engaging with C-suite executives and senior decision-makers at financial institutions. • Creative, strategic, analytical, and outside-of-the-box problem solver. • Experience with in-person conference networking and marketing. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams).
