• Zayo provides mission-critical bandwidth to impactful companies • Responsible for selling into & supporting US Federal Gov't Agencies • Formulate account strategies to strengthen customer relationships and achieve sales goals • Generate sales revenue by promoting Zayo Network products • Maintain current business relationships and secure existing revenue • Apply knowledge of customers and industry to achieve revenue targets • Identify and qualify potential customers • Track and report on sales performance • Develop and maintain records of customer activity • Provide accurate information to management • Coordinate with departments to ensure customer satisfaction • Participate in high-level sales presentations • Analyze customer requirements for Zayo products • Keep abreast of competitive landscape and technologies • Work collaboratively as a team while performing individually
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience • Minimum of five (5) years selling into the US Federal Government or State & Local Government • Minimum of five (5) years selling within the communications infrastructure space • Existing understanding of & relationships within the Public Sector Technology ecosystem • Strong financial acumen • Demonstrated success and consistency in achieving targeted sales goals • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written • Exceptional customer service and relationship building and maintaining skills • Thorough understanding of account management and the strategic selling process • Effective problem solving, leadership, and interpersonal skills • Excellent time management and organizational skills • Knowledge of the Microsoft & Google Suites of Products, along with Salesforce • Ability to handle ambiguity and anticipate and quickly react to changes in a fast-paced environment
